The cosmetic, anti-aging injections are gaining fame with each passing day! They are offering people with, what they call as ‘Younger Look Forever’. These treatments are non-surgical, easy and effective to a large extent. Both the Botox and Dermal Fillers are widely-liked by people for giving them an escape from the aging signs, but the main dilemma faced by people in- which one to choose? To let the people find the right treatment for their skin problem, we are here discussing the difference between the two:

Though both seem to be same, they work differently and are used on different lines. Botox works by paralyzing the muscles and preventing their contraction, whereas the Filler treatment acts by filling temporary or permanent materials into the ageing lines.

It is very easy to define their use. The line of expression needs Botox treatment, while the line at rest require Filler. That means, the Botox is the right option to hit those “crease points” where the muscle contract, including the crow’s feet, frown lines and ‘11s’ between the eyebrows. Whereas the filler is suitable for deep lines that are present uniform when the facial muscles are not contracting, such as the marionette lines or nasolabial lines.

In Botox treatment, botulinum toxin is used, whereas different fillers are used in the filler treatment, depending on your requirement. For example: Hyaluronic acid filler is given for marionette lines, and Calcium-based filler is given to deal with sleep wrinkles on the cheeks and chin.
